Chattanooga Times Free Press Obituaries for March 29, 2010 Dean Brooks Robbie Dean Skiles Brooks, 75, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010, at her daughter's home in Trenton, Ga. surrounded by all her family. She was of the Baptist faith. Dean graduated from Soddy Daisy High School in the class of 1954. She retired from Cavalier Corporation after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd A. Brooks; son, Kenneth Brooks; parents, William and Mary Graham Skiles; brother, Arnold Skiles; sister, Ruby Parrott; and grandson David Walker. Survivors include her son. Chris (Barbara Gay) Brooks; daughters, Rhonda (M.E.) Davis, Robbie Brooks, Lisa (Tommy) Pardue and Terry (Eddie) Walker; brothers, Morris Skiles, Clyde Skiles and Johnny Skiles; sisters, Georgia Parrott and Jo Padgett 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Carlos Swafford, the Rev. Tommy Pardue, the Rev. Roger Haston and the Rev. Jack Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Varner Cemetery. Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 11-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
