  [S16] Obituary. May 11, 1936 - April 15, 2013 Wesley Harvey, 76, of Flat Top Mountain, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013 at his home, a log cabin that he built himself. He was a roofer and enjoyed collecting iron skillets. Wesley was preceded in death by his children, Kathy Harvey and Lebron Harvey; parents, Jack and Mae Harvey; brothers, Winfred Harvey, Howard Harvey and Jackson Harvey. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Cindy Harvey Richardson and Terry Richardson; grandchildren, Crystal Whitthorne; William Harvey and Amanda Jill Harvey; great grandson, Barrett Whitthorne; sisters, Betty Johnson, Frieda (Garland) Gadd, Peggy (Roy) Irwin and Angela (Mark) Johnson and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jackie Penney officiating. Burial will follow at Shubird Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Special thanks to Kathleen Colbough and Hospice of Chattanooga.
