"SONNY," 47 of Linda Lane, Chattanooga, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was co-owner and operator of Whalen Dry Wall Co. Survivors include his parents, Raymond "Rip" and Zora Durand Whalen Sr., Soddv-Daisy; two sons, Bart Whalen, Hixson, and Brad Whalen, Soddy-Daisv; daughter, Wendy Evett, Turlock, Calif.; brother, Jimmy Whalen, Soddv-Daisy; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. today at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy.
