  [S16] Obituary. February 17, 1923 - April 25, 2011 Alice Newman Keel, 88, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at Soddy-Daisy Healthcare. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Ocala, FL. She was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; Florence and Floyd Newman; husband, Norman Keel; daughter, Judith Clark; son, Gerald Keel; brother, William Newman, sisters, Watova Miller, and Kathleen Brown. She is survived by two grandsons, Donovan Keel of Texas, and Michael (Rebecca) Hankins of Atlanta, GA; sister, Lois Plumlee of Hixson; several nieces and nephews, and special niece, Marilyn McCuiston. A graveside service will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Soddy Presbyterian Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Special thanks to the staff of Soddy-Daisy Healthcare.
