  [S16] Obituary. April 5, 1931 - December 14, 2008 Virgil Ray Johnson, 77, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife; Stella Johnson, parents; Riley and Lola Johnson, sister; Viola Johnson, brother; Jimmy L. Johnson. He is survived by his sons, Jimmy Johnson, Johnny Johnson, daughter; Sheila Johnson, sister; Rita Bess Johnson of Soddy-Daisy, brother; Jack Johnson of Soddy-Daisy, Quay Johnson of Pikeville, Clayton Johnson of Sale Creek, F.A. Johnson of Cove, OR., grandsons; Patrick Johnson, Justin Johnson, granddaughter; Jennifer Johnson, great-granddaughters; Whitney and Trista, several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 3:30 P.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Sam Philips officiating. Family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. Monday until time of service at the funeral home.
