  [S16] Obituary. January 4, 1931 - August 14, 2011 Samuel Flavious Roberts, 80, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away, Sunday, August 14, 2011. He was a faithful member of the Soddy Church of Christ. Flavious retired from Rock-Tenn after thirty-three years of employment. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Gertie Roberts; wives, Ruby Dunn Roberts & Charlsie Card Roberts; daughter, Glenda Grizzle Small; brother, Dennis Roberts and a sister, Genieve Roberts Balcom. He is survived by his wife, Lea Byrd Roberts; son & daughter-in-law, Russell & Jan Roberts; daughter & son-in-law, Esther & Randy Card; daughter, Nancy Priscilla Fulghum; brother, Hershel (Sue) Roberts; sister, Joyce (Austin) Thurman; grandchildren, Steve, Rusty, Becki, Jeramy, Jennifer and Jason; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Karigan, Hope, Angel, Dylan, Samuel, Grant & Jackson; step-children, Diane Ireland, Darrell Byrd & Carol Bowen and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Minister Bill Greer officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and 10:00 A.M. TO 11:00 A.M. Wednesday.
