  [S16] Obituary. August 12, 1957 - August 12, 2013 Michael Phillip Johnston, 56, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013. Michael spent his life helping others; he would literally give someone the shirt off his back. He was preceded in death by his father, J.P. Johnston. Michael is survived by his mother, Jessie Johnston; brothers and sisters, Ricky Mann, Terry (Debbie) Powell, Carolyn (Robert) Smith, Marvin (Sherry) Johnston and Penn Johnston and several nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Dwight Martin officiating. Visitation is 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday.
