Penney - Joe Isom, 65, of 145 McAfee Rd., Rossville, passed awayFriday Afternoon in a local hospital. He was an employee of ChattanoogaBakery, where he had worked for the past 20 years. Survivors are hiswife, Mrs. Hazel Penney; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Yates, Chattanooga;Mrs. Pete Santos, Lorain, Ohio; Mrs. John Estes, Pekin, Illinois; oneson, Airman 1C Edward E. Penney, U. S. Force in Viet Nam; four sisters,Mrs. Earl Smith, Chattanooga; Mrs. Anderson Green, Soddy, Tennessee; Mrs.Cleo Lee, Lansing, Michigan; three brothers, Bill Penney, Ed Penney, RayPenney all of Chattanooga, 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Funeral arrangements will be announced. Edward Earl Penney, 66, died Wednesday, August 26, 1999 in his home.Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Memories, 542Hickory.
