    Penney - James Robert 'Jim', 82 of Chesterfield, South Carolina, diedthere October 5th. A native of Hamilton County, he was a son of the lateThomas M. and Sophronia Kerns Penney. He had lived in Chesterfield since1957 and was a retired supervisor at Burlington Industries with 40 yearsof service. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
    Survivors include his wife, Louise Davis Penney; son, James R. 'Jimmy'Penney, Jr. both of Chesterfield; daughter, Frieda L. Wolfe, Virginia;brother, Wilburn R. Penney, St. Petersburg, Florida; sister, Eveline B.Abernathy, Soddy-Daisy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Services were October 8 at Chesterfield Presbyterian Church. Burial wasin Chesterfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made toChesterfield Rescue Squad.
