  [S16] Obituary. November 15, 1915 - January 3, 2011 Alice “Gertrude” Rogers, 95, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011, at a local healthcare facility. She was the oldest and longest living member of the Daisy Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ola Kirk Rogers; brothers, Thomas Rogers and Leslie Rogers; sister, Lula Conner. She is survived by her brother and sister-in law, Charles and Jimmie Rogers of Dayton, TN; and many loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 5, at Daisy Church of God with Bishop Sam Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 4.
