  [S16] Obituary. July 27, 1921 - June 20, 2014 Jesse C. Minton, 92, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 20, 2014. He was a loyal member of the Freedom Worship Center. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 70 years, Elouise; daughter, Linda Mathis; parents, Fannie and Bill Minton; brothers, Slater and Jim Minton; sister, Edith Nance; grandson, Brian Turner, granddaughter, Tina Elsea; and great granddaughter, Natalie Sitton. He left behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Carolyn Turner, June Phillips, Patsy (Jim) Elrod; very special grandson, Mark Mathis; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 23, 2014, at Freedom Worship Center, 1150 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN, with Pastor Mike Battles officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, June 22, from 2:00 until 9:00 P.M.
