  [S16] Obituary. March 12, 1940 ~ March 4, 2017 Tootsie Effie McFarland, 76, of Soddy Daisy went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 4, 2017. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Asbury, Hobert Asbury, J.C. Asbury; sisters, Ethel Farmer and Betty Neace; a granddaughter, Misty Bennett; her father, John Andrew Asbury and her mother, Lillie Mae Asbury. She is survived by her husband, Ed McFarland; her children, Johnny (Mary) Bennett, Jimmy (Cathy) Bennett, Mike (Debbie) Bennett, Vicki (Leon) Orr and Donna Lovelady; her grandchildren, Janet Bennett, Christy Bennett, Nikke (Brett) Dunn, Anna Bennett, Desta Lovelady, Coty Combs and R.J. Lovelady; her great-grandchildren, Gracie Dunn, Paislee Combs and Matthew Masters; a brother, Tiny Asbury; a sister, Elizabeth Proffitt and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home. The service will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Combs and Rev. James Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Granny Walker Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Johnny Sims, Coty Combs, R.J. Lovelady, Anthony Stewart, Brett Dunn and DeWayne Quinn.
