August 7, 1946 - August 10, 2015
Marvin R. Francisco, Jr., 69, of Soddy-Daisy, slipped from the arms of his family into the arms of his loving Savior on Monday, August 10, 2015. He was a member of Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church and attended Green Pond Baptist Church. Marvin was a Veteran of the United States Navy and he retired from Dupont.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Marvin R. Francisco, Sr. and Ola Varner Francisco.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty eight years, Janice Heiss Francisco; daughters, Amy (Tim) Mickel and Dana (Larry) Jordan; granddaughter, Heather McGuffee and grandson, Tyler Mickel; step-granddaughter, Lacey Jordan and step-great-grandson, Drake Freeman; sister, Pamela (Randolph) Frady and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be 11:30 A.M. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Wilburn Hardyman and Dr. Michael Young officiating. There will be no visitation.
Marvin will be missed greatly by his family, but they have comfort in knowing he is walking the streets of gold with his Lord and Savior.
