  [S16] Obituary. August 10, 1923 - February 8, 2014 Paul Homer Scoggins, 90, of Hixson, passed away February 8, 2014. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during World War II. Paul retired from Wheland Foundry and he was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish and was a lifelong member of the NRA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Scoggins; son Paul H. Scoggins, III, and a daughter, Wanda Hayes. He is survived by his children, Sherry Scoggins, Mary Reynolds, Roy Cansler, Chris Smith and Edith Jackson; twenty one grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. James Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park with Military Honors. Visitation is 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
