  [S16] Obituary. May 31, 1929 - February 21, 2012 June Elizabeth Penney, 82, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy and a member of the Soddy Church of God. June retired from T.V.A. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Anderson Pendergrass and Amanda Paul Pendergrass and her husband, Lewis Penney. Survivors include her sons, Jim Penney and Kenneth Penney of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Brenda Gibbon of Signal Mountain along with 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kelly Selby officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
