  [S16] Obituary. January 12, 1909 - July 16, 2008 Walter Childs Hall, 99, of Hixson, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, in a local hospital. Born in Beatyville, Kentucky, he lived in Hixson since 1971 and was a member of the Hixson First Baptist Church. Walter was also a member of the Daisy Masonic Lodge # 706 F&A.M. He was preceded in death by his son, Dr. Paul Hall and his grandson, Walter Holman Hall. Survivors include his wife of 78 years, Charlotte Card Hall; daughter, Frances Hall of Hixson; brother, Robert Hall of Lake Park, Georgia; granddaughter, Susan Trott and great grandchildren, Conner and Preston Trott. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Card Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
