Thomas E. Lasley, 92, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Monday, January 20, 2014. Thomas was a World War II Army Veteran, serving in France, Germany, Italy and North Africa. He retired from Combustion Engineering after thirty six years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bertha Lasley, three brothers and four sisters.
Thomas is survived by his wife of sixty years, Chrystal Lasley and their children, Steve (Pam) Lasley, Teresa (Max) Lowe, Sid (Jeanne) Lasley and Lisa (Alan) Cohen; sister, Dorothy Lewis; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery, with Military Honors. Visitation is 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at the funeral home.
