  [S16] Obituary. October 22, 1948 - May 13, 2014 Sybil Smith, 65, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bessie Brown; son, Marvin Smith, Jr; and daughter, Stacy Smith. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Smith of Soddy-Daisy; sons Tracy (Jaye) Smith of Hixson; Joe (Jill) Smith of Signal Mountain; daughters, Tina (Mitchell) Gaither, and Missy Smith, all of Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Jimmy Brown, and Wayne Brown, both of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Joyce Pickett of Soddy-Daisy, Peggy Price of Birchwood, TN; and Susie Russell of Rossville, GA; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 15, 2014, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery. Visitation is from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 14, 2014.
