Sandra Sue Patten, 61, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011. She was born on June 20, 1949 in Soddy-Daisy. She worked for the Hamilton County Election Commission in a judicial capacity. She was very involved in charity work. The Children’s Miracle Network and the Soddy-Daisy Forgotten Child Fund were her primary charities. She was a very devoted member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church. Sue was a light to the community and her sweet smile and loving glow will surely be missed by all she knew.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Lonnie Gene Patten, sons, Michael Robert and Damon Scott, daughter, Stephanie Michelle, grandchildren, Michaela Roberts, Lucian Patten, Kraig Bice, brother, Jimmy Wease, and a large extended family.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Don Kelley and the Rev. Jimmy Wease officating. Interment will follow the service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 2-9 P.M. Thursday and after 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
