  [S16] Obituary. March 5, 1938 - January 9, 2014 Ressie E. Neighbors, 75, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014. She was a member of Soddy-Daisy First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Neighbors and son, Tim Neighbors. Survivors include her sons, Jackie (Judy) Neighbors and Larry (Amy) Neighbors; daughter, Rosa(Lynn) Lingerfelt; brothers, Charles Rigsby and Raymond Rigsby; sisters, Johnnie Rigsby, Ruby Rigsby and Virginia White; grandchildren, Misty Lingerfelt, Jeremy Lingerfelt; Joe Neighbors, Josh Neighbors, Brittany Neighbors and Amber Neighbors; great grandchildren, Makenzie Lingerfelt, Melina and Amila Neighbors; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Jackie Penney officiating. Burial will follow at Poe Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday after 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.StJude.org.
