  [S16] Obituary. June 1, 1937 - January 20, 2009 Monta June Leffew, 71, of Soddy Daisy, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at her home. A lifelong resident of Soddy Daisy, she attended the Dividing Ridge Church of God. June was preceded in death by her parents, Eva Mae and Roy Kennedy and her brother, J.L. Kennedy. Survivors include her husband, James Leffew; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Penny Leffew; daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Donny Ireland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Charlene Kennedy and Melvin and Catherine Kennedy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Albert Wilkey and Linda and Leonard Cameron; grandchildren, B.J. and Edie Clayton, Nicholas Leffew and Tiffany Nicole Ireland; great grandchildren, Marcail, Arianna and Dakotah Clayton. Services will be Friday, January 23, 2009, at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bruce Kennedy and Rev. Bruce Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Smith Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for all their help.
