May 12, 1920 - March 6, 2013
Mildred Greene, 92, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. She was a longtime member of the Oak Street Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Greene, parents, W.J. & Ida Redden Grant; sister, Rosalie Smith and brothers, Norris, Kermit and Granville Grant.
Ms. Greene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn & Vance Pollard; grandson Scott Pollard and wife, Karen; two great-granddaughters, Cassie & Allyson Pollard; sister, Mary (Raymond) Sutherland; brothers, Willis & Bruce (Violet) Grant, all of Soddy-Daisy.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga, especially Shauna, Larry and Karen.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2013, with Pastor Scott Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Poe Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
