Lloyd Brumlow
RINGGOLD ? Lloyd Samuel Brumlow, 84, a former resident of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Monday, July 7, 2008.
His father, James Samuel Brumlow, was the first generation; Lloyd Samuel Brumlow was the second generation; his son Gerald Brumlow is the third generation; his grandson Samuel Adam Brumlow is the fourth generation; and his great-grandson Samuel Ramsey Brumlow is the fifth generation of the Brumlow family.
Mr. Brumlow was a member of Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church. He retired from U.S. Pipe and was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II. He was a member of Soddy Masonic Lodge 418 F&AM, Scottish Rite Society and the Alhambra Temple.
His wife, Ruth Payne Brumlow, and sons, Thomas Ray and David Brumlow, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Gerald (Vickie) Brumlow; daughters, Jeanne (Robert) Russell and Carol (John) Lewis; brother, Harold Brumlow; grandchildren, Allen Brumlow, Lora Stamey, Lisa Stegll, Jonathan Lewis, Shelby Lewis, Jason Moore, Ashley Brandon and Cody Brandon; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. today, July 9, 2008, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Brother George Pinion and Brother Sammy Simmons officiating.
