  [S16] Obituary. October 18, 1918 - April 12, 2013 Viola Grant Young, 94, of Mowbray Mountain, passed away at her home on Friday, April 12, 2013. She was born October 18, 1918 in Lewis Chapel, Tennessee. Viola was a charter member of Mowbray Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Young; parents, Willie T. and Priscilla Harvey Grant; brothers, Standifer, Colonel, Marvin, Claude and Murphy Grant; sisters, Grace Grant, Aldenia Ables, Hester Greene and Naoma Frederick. Viola will be missed dearly by her family, church family and many friends. Survivors include her son, Larry C. Young (Phyllis) of Lewis Chapel; daughter, Yvonne Young Smith (George C.) of Mowbray Mountain; grandchildren, Kristi Click (Steve), Vanda Brown (Fred), Stacy Young (Pam) and Ginger Brady (Bobby); 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday, April 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ray Dotson. Burial will follow at Varner Cemetery on Mowbray Mountain.
