  [S16] Obituary. December 28, 1934 - October 24, 2012 Gayle Springfield Cooper, 77, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Her adoring husband, Clyde, and she enjoyed their time together taking trips, enjoying family and spending time with her life-long friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. Gayle contributed to her community in various ways, especially through crocheting. She was a member of the Daisy United Methodist Church. She was the Secretary for the Soddy-Daisy Class of 1952 and was an integral part of their continuing activities. Gayle retired from Spears, Moore, Rebman and Williams after more than twenty five years as a Legal Secretary. She will be desperately missed by her husband, children, extended family and friends. “Me one, Bobba one!” She was preceded in death by her parents, Hab and Julia Springfield and a sister, Barbara Ann Collins. Gayle is survived by her husband, Clyde E. Cooper, Sr.; girls, Cindy Yount McBrayer, Sheron Yount Duckworth (Morgan), Carla Yount Lewis, Charmaine Yount, and Clyde’s children, Sandra Carter (Steve), Lisa Rue (Robby), Clyde E. Cooper, Jr. (Sharon); brother, Thom Springfield (Cindy); grandchildren, Emily McBrayer (Eric), Sarah McBrayer, Philip McBrayer, Becca McBrayer (Michael), Case Duckworth, Mamie Duckworth, Julia Duckworth, Will Lewis, Jonathan Shore, Andrew Shore, Hayley Carter, Miles Cooper, Riley Cooper, Wes Rue and Paige Rue. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Don Jones officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 2:00 P.M. TO 4:00P.M. and 5:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M.
