  [S16] Obituary. August 13, 1946 - June 23, 2011 Jay Milton Rose, 64, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and was an avid Braves fan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart Recipient. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Rose and Lois Lucas, brother, Billy Joe Dagley, sister, Elizabeth Boulton. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathy Rose, sons, Jay Edward Rose, Michael (Tosha) Rose, Jason Rose, Wesley Rose, daughter, Faralynn Rose, sister, Regina Collins, 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. Funeral service will be 12:30 P.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
