  [S16] Obituary. July 28, 1959 - December 20, 2010 Homer Michael “Mike” Young, 51, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Monday December 20, 2010 at a local hospital. He was a wonderful husband, loving father and grandfather, a good son and caring brother. He was of the Baptist Faith. He graduated from Central High School in 1977 and was employed by Truck Pro. Preceded in death by his mother, Dixie Young He is survived by his wife, Kathy Young, sons, Josh, Joey, Nick and Ben Young all of Soddy-Daisy, father, Homer Young of Chattanooga, sisters, Jan Young of Chattanooga, Jennifer Bennett of Cary, NC., grandson, Michael Young, granddaughter, Alivia Young. Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David Stancil officiating. Interment will follow the service at Chattanooga Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
