  [S16] Obituary. July 13, 1938 - February 12, 2015 Herbert Fate Doss, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015. He was a member of Union Fork Baptist Church. Herbert lived most of his life in Soddy-Daisy. He was a carpenter and worked with tile and dry wall for many years. An avid Tennessee Vols fan, he also liked to fish and spend time on house boats. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, Vonetta and John Doss. Survivors include his daughters, Rhonda Dixon (Ricky) and Michelle Swanson (Billy, Sr.); sisters, Rose Gregory, Nancy Dale and Maudie Layne (Bennie); grandchildren, Michael Dixon, Matthew Dixon, Jessica White and Cassie Bureau; great grandchildren, Lily Dixon, Abby Dixon, Makayla Roberts and Gaige White and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Rhea Memory Gardens.
