  [S16] Obituary. Hayden Lamar Lasley, 60, of Hixson passed away Monday, May 20, 2013. He was a longtime area girls softball coach of 35 plus years. Lamar coached at Soddy-Daisy High School for the past 16 years, as well as Loftis Middle School. He was a grounds supervisor at Forest Hills Cemetery, an avid hunter and fisherman, and member of the Middle Valley Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dana Lasley; parents, Hayden and Margie Lasley of Hixson; daughters, Lauren (Chad) Condroski of Soddy-Daisy and Morgan Lasley of Hixson; sister, Sheila (Hank) Mallicoat of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Kayleigh and Nolen; several nieces and nephews; and the countless girls whose lives he has touched throughout his many years of coaching. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Middle Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Scott and Rev. Mickey Rector officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-8 PM on Wednesday at the church and one hour prior to services on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Soddy-Daisy Trojans softball team at 618 Sequoyah Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379 or Loftis Cougars Softball team at 8611 Columbus Road, Hixson, TN 37343.
