October 21, 1925 - August 31, 2011
Evelyn F. Chauncey, 85, of Soddy-Daisy went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at a local hospital. She was of the Baptist Faith. She retired from South Central Bell after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Kirchner, parents, Sam and Effie Chauncey, brothers, Grant Chauncey, Claude Chauncey, sisters, Reba Bash, Joy Runions.
She is survived by her brothers, Berto Chauncey, Perry Chauncey, Sam Chauncey, sisters, Deborah Fugate, Nellie McClendon, special niece and nephew, Lori Chauncey, Mickey Fugate, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Grant Chauncey officiating. Interment will follow the service at Granny Walker Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-9 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the doctor and staff on the second floor at Memorial North Park Hospital and at the Soddy-Daisy Health Care Center for their loving support and care for Mrs. Chauncey.
