  [S16] Obituary. October 6, 1929 - April 25, 2014 Edward “Buddy” Ward, 84, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy and of the Church of God faith. Mr. Ward served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a very loving, caring and generous man that was loved by all. His parents, Otis and Edith Ward; brother, Tommy Ward and sisters, Agnes Eustice and Nancy Collett preceded him in death. Survivors include his brothers, Bobby Ward, Donald Ward and Jackie Ward; sister, Brenda Tate and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Melvin Walker and Rev. Calvin Nunley officiating. Burial will follow at National Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences and memories can be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
