  [S16] Obituary. APRIL 21, 1941 ~ MARCH 6, 2018 Dolores Y. Shelton, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy and of the Baptist faith. Dolores had worked for Kenco. She was a fashionable lady and enjoyed dressing exquisitely. Always smiling, she was a kind and sweet person to everyone. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Philpott and parents, Howard and Frances Lewis. Survivors are her husband, Bill Shelton; sons, Danny Philpott (Susan) and Davy Philpott (Lisa); step-sons, Tyler Shelton and Toby Shelton (Tina); step-daughter, Chantelle Guthrie; brother, Gary Lewis (Sharon); sisters, Charlotte Crooks, Brenda Greeson and Angie Cornelius; grandchildren, Josh Philpott, Jake Philpott, Annabeth Taylor, Nick Philpott, Lauren Philpott and Colin Philpott; step-grandchildren, Michael Guthrie and Shea Sawyers; great grandchildren, Ariel Taylor and Emma Philpott; step-great grandchildren, Aubree Sawyers and Mason Sawyers; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Alan Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at National Cemetery.
