  [S16] Obituary. February 11, 1947 - January 19, 2011 Clyde Franklin Smith, 66, of Bakewell, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Born on February 20, 1944, he was preceded in death by his father, J. Clyde Smith and his brothers, Terry E. and Ronald L. Smith. Clyde was a member of North Hamilton Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the Chattanooga Glass Company. He was a bowler and motorcyclist. Survivors include his wife, Jane McAfee Smith; mother, Sylvia Heard Smith of Bakewell; brother, Robert A. (Mary) Smith of Sale Creek; sister, M. Anne (Herald) Gregory of Pikeville along with several nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister David Smith officiating.
