Ms. Brandi Nicole Griggs, age 38, entered into rest on Thursday, October 17, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church (1635 Cedar Creek Rd. Hartsville, SC) by Rev. William Griggs and Rev. Jeff Williams with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:30 – 4:30 PM Sunday prior to the service at the church.
Ms. Griggs was born September 10, 1981, in Bennettsville, SC, a daughter of Patricia Griggs and Ronald Earl Griggs. A graduate of Marlboro County High School, Brandi attained an Associate’s Degree in Business from Northeastern Technical College. Ms. Griggs was a US Marine veteran and an avid farm animal lover, especially pigs. Brandi was employed as a retail store manager. Her hobbies included listening to music and completing puzzles. She was a former cheerleader and a proud former member of the Crystal McGinnis Dance Group. Brandi also loved to travel to the mountains.
Ms. Griggs was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Marie Griggs; and by her grandparents, William Archie and Betty Parker Griggs and Ronald Coleman and Regina B. Griggs.
Survivors include her mother, Patricia Griggs of Ruby, SC; father, Ronald Earl Griggs of Greenville, SC; her fiancé, Kevin Collins of Myrtle Beach, SC; her brother, Charlie Williams Jr. (Denise) of Cheraw, SC; her sister, Sondra Michele White of Fairmont, NC; her niece and nephew, Dylan Chase of Laura Hill, NC, and Caylee Deanna Williams of Wallace, SC; and numerous aunts and uncles.
