Benny “Sonny” Smith, 79, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away October 14, 2017
He was a member of the Daisy Church of God. Sonny was a United States Army Veteran and a retired carpenter and a fifty year member of Carpenters Local Union 74.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Gunnie Smith; brothers, Clifford Randolph and William Boots; and sisters, Geraldine Painter and Dot Poe.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Manning Smith; three sons, Scott (Pam) Smith, Travis (Debbie) Smith and Dustin Smith; two grandchildren, Tyler Smith and Kaitlin Smith; a special niece, Vickie Spiegelhalter along with several other nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Caleb Bolton officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
