  [S16] Obituary. August 20, 1933 - December 17, 2014 Avis Eustice Smith, 81, of Soddy-Daisy, passed quietly at home on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Smith; son, Ray; parents, James and Grace Eustice, five brothers and two sisters. She was a mother to many and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her sister, Eunice Sluder; daughters, Maureen (Allen) Wilson; Darlene (Bob) Smith, Patty (James) Young, Cheryl (Jerry) Brisky and Kimberly (Eddie) Thomas as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with her nephew Layne Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
