  [S16] Obituary. November 14, 1926 - August 27, 2006 Alice Ellen Rogers Eustice, 79, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Soddy-Daisy Health Care. She was the daughter of the late Zola Hamill and Jack Rogers. Alice grew up in East Chattanooga and graduated from Central High School on Dodds Ave. in 1945. She was a devoted wife and wonderful mother. She loved her dog Candy, birds and her soap operas, and was a beautiful lady. She is preceded in date by her husband in which she was married for 58 years; Chaney Eustice. Alice is survived by her children; David Eustice of Austin, TX., Suzanne Mendell of Oriental, NC., Gill Eustice of Florence, SC., Tommy Eustice of Soddy-Daisy, sisters; Dorothy O’Conner of Alexandria, VA., Anna Ruth Rogers of Kirkwood, PA., 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. Don Lasley officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
