Vonnie Aslinger Ford, 85, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010 in an area hospital. Mrs. Ford retired from Dixie Yarns after forty years of service. She was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Her husband, the late Samuel Ford; parents, Leonard and Alice Aslinger and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include her brother, Wayne Aslinger of Soddy-Daisy; sister, Winnie Aslinger Hall of Soddy-Daisy; and several special nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Cliff Roth officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-6 PM and on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by locally owned and operated Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy.
