  [S16] Obituary. September 22, 1938 - October 23, 2010 JoAnn Burton Cunningham, 72, of Sale Creek, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 23, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Sale Creek. JoAnn retired from Senior Neighbors of Chattanooga and was the owner/operator of Forget-Me-Not Florist in Soddy Daisy for many years. She was the daughter of the late Glenn and Dorothy Burton. Survivors include her husband, David Cunningham; daughters, Sharon Stiefel of Red Bank, Lisa (Joe) Totherow of Hixson, Becky (Sam) Benefield of Sale Creek, Kristie Cavanah of Sale Creek; sister, Martha (Hoyle) Holloway of Sale Creek; stepchildren, Duane (Donna) Cunningham of North Carolina and Becky (Tony) Starnes of Sale Creek along with several grandchildren and nieces. Services will be Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Emory Layne officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
