Retia Creasman Loftis, 89, of Soddy-Daisy went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 2, 2010. A woman of great strength and faith. She was a member of Rechoboth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands; Parker A. Creasman and Marion Noel Loftis, children; Wanda, Thomas and Donnie Creasman, parents; Charlie and Lula Fritts, brothers; Leanard and John Eddie Fritts, sisters; Mary Hickman, Ruby Gann.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter; Sharon and son Micky Hancock, grandchildren; Angie (Tim) Hill, Kimberly McCarter, Cindy (David) Brooks, Misty (John David) Smith, Ashley Hancock, great-grandchildren; Trevor Walker, Raigan McCarter, brother; James Fritts.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Allen Stewart officiating. Interment will follow the service at Presbyterian Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 3-9 P.M. Saturday and after 11:00 A.M. Sunday at the funeral home. The family wants to give special thanks to Soddy-Daisy Health Care (East Wing) for the great care that they took of my mother. Also, to Hospice of Chattanooga (Nurse Lynn Curvin), thank you for your great care and love. Thanks to Hospice Social Worker (Ivan Deitch) for all your support.
