October 24, 1919 - April 14, 2012
Ruth M. Sanders, 92, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at a local health care facility. She was a member of Daisy United Methodist Church. She was a very outgoing lady, helping anyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt E. Sanders, stepson, James Sanders, parents, Claude and Lula Martin, brothers, R.C. Martin, Hugh Martin, sisters, Mary Clift, Sarah Rigney, Dorothy Card, daughter-in-law, Kaye Sanders.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Rick) Williams, sons, Ronald (Laura) Sanders, Gerald (Elizabeth) Sanders, daughter-in-law, Barbara Sanders, brother-in-law, Norris Clift, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, special friends, Annabelle Hatfield and the Burns family.
Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gerald Sanders and the Rev. Don Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service at Poe Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Dr. Frederick Gould and the staff at Soddy-Daisy Health Care Center for their love and support for our mother. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Daisy United Methodist Church building fund at 9508 Dayton Pike; Soddy-Daisy, TN. 37379 or the Holston Home for Children, 6314 E.
