  [S16] Obituary. May 19, 1918 - May 28, 2009 John Theo Flerl, 91, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 at his home. He was a longtime member of Oak Street Baptist Church. He loved cutting wood with his chain saw and was an avid Gardener. He was preceded in death by his parents; John William and Gertie Clift Flerl, brothers; James Flerl, Joe Flerl, sisters; Marguerite McDonald, Imogene Varner. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years; Lorene Flerl, sons; John (Sandra) Flerl, David (Nancy) Flerl, daughter; Linda (Joe) Carroll, grandchildren; Michelle (Mike) Allen, John E. Flerl, Melissa (Kenneth) Ewton, Tona (Brian) McBryar, Joshua D. Flerl, Sarah (David) Wolfe, Hannah M. Flerl, great-grandchildren; Holly Allen, Eli Allen, Katie Duncan, Jordan Duncan, Kenlee Ewton, Garrett Flerl, Gavin Flerl, Blaine McDowell, Caitlin McBryar. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Miller officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5-9 P.M.
