Bertie Clift
Bertie Mae Clift, 93, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009 in a local hospital. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Clift. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Larry & Jan Clift of Soddy Daisy and Bobby & Sylvia Clift of Chattanooga along with 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Services will be Monday, June 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ted Painter officiating. Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Brent Clift, Jimmy Clift, Steve Clift, Blane Barnes, David Owens and Steven Clift serving as pallbearers. Visitation is Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to New Salem Baptist Church, 9806 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379.
