  [S16] Obituary. January 4, 1953 - August 13, 2014 Larry Joe Cox, 61, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. He was a native of Signal Mountain and lived in Soddy-Daisy the last 10 years. Larry was a member of the Signal Mountain Church of God of Prophecy. He was employed in security with TVA at the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. Larry loved restoring hot rods and motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Ray and Jeanette Cox and sister, Bertha Scoggins. Survivors include his wife, Wynnelle Cox; step-son, Derrick (Jessica) Myers; step-daughter, Angela Myers; brother, Ray Cox; sisters, Janet (Rev. Jay) Weatherford and Lynda Cox and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jay Weatherford officiating. Burial will follow at Rankin Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences and memories can be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
