  [S16] Obituary. January 30, 1928 - August 9, 2011 Ina Ruth Carr, 83, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away, Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at her residence after an extended illness. She was a faithful member of Mowbray Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse B. Carr; parents, Louis & Sarah Johnson; sisters, Ellen Guess, Anne Yother, Gladys Johnson; brothers, Jasper Johnson, Coy Johnson, Arwin Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Virgil Johnson and Warren Johnson. She is survived by her two sons, Lamar (Connie) Carr, Odell (Vicky) Carr; sister, Myrtle Smith; brother, L.F. Johnson, Jr.; three grandchildren, Beverly (Wayne) Jones, Jason Carr, Misty (Jeremy) Hicks; six great-grandchildren, Ashley (Wesley) Lewis, Cody Jones, Hunter Jones, Makayla Hicks, Kensley Hicks; Weston Hicks; one great-great-grandchild, Emma Jones; one nephew who they assisted raising, Kenneth Johnson and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 12, 2011, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Art Hampson & Rev. Louis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Varner Cemetery on Mowbray Mountain. Visitation with the family will be 12:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. Thursday.
