  [S16] Obituary. October 21, 1934 - February 16, 2011 Joyce A. Beene, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Ms. Beene was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. “Jay” Beene; parents, Horace &Blanche Abernathy; brother, Harold Abernathy and a sister, Shelby Bailey. She is survived by her children, Pam & Henry “Bo” Huff, Johnny & Tina Beene, Patty & George Wright, Debbie & Dale Lovelady; sister, Willa Dean Abernathy grandchildren, Angie Harvey, Lori Harvey, Michael Beene, Cory Lovelady, Tara Dunn; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 2:30 P.M. Friday, February 18, 2011, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Ted Painter officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
