  [S16] Obituary. July 25, 1941 - November 20, 2015 Jeanette Chandler Hickey, 74, of Hixson, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015. She was of the Baptist faith, and a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. She was retired from DuPont, and was a member of the DuPont First Responders Fire Brigade and Rescue Squad where she served as equipment truck and ambulance driver. She loved hiking and arrowhead hunting throughout the states of Virginia to Wyoming. Survivors include her husband, Lamaurice “Marty” Hickey of Hixson; son, Terry Hickey of Riceville; brothers, Harrison Chandler, Roy Chandler; three step grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 23, 2015, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Fine officiating. Interment will follow in McGlothen Cemetery on Cagle Mountain. Pallbearers are Kevin Owens, Ed Johnson, Herbie Brown, Wayne Brown, Jimmy Tipton, and James Brown. Visitation is 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, November 22, and 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Monday, November 23, at the funeral home.
