  [S16] Obituary. May 3, 1942 - December 19, 2014 Fred Owen Morgan, 72, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away December 19, 2014 at Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center. He had attended Straight Way Holiness Church and was a “Prayer Warrior”. If you were at his home or on the telephone with him and needed prayer, you did not leave without his prayer to The Almighty God. He played “The Bible” tapes and listened to gospel music. He enjoyed playing his guitar along with his mother on the piano. Fred was preceded in death by his father, Ray Morgan. He is survived by his mother, Dollie Morgan, and brother, Harold Morgan, of Soddy-Daisy, several nieces and nephews, and aunt, Ida McKenzie of California. He will surely be missed by those who knew and loved him. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Reverend’s Aaron and Troy Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Poe Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 22, up until the time of service at the funeral home.
