  [S16] Obituary. February 9, 1941 - November 14, 2014 Gene Hill, 73, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014. He retired from Boilermakers Local 454. Gene is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore & Thelma Hill; his lifelong companion, Christine Simmons; daughter, Melissa Lynn Hill; brother, Ed Dodd; and sisters, Alice Morgan and Bonnie Dodd. He is survived by his son, Wesley Hill; daughter, Mildred Ann Johnson; brothers, James (Margaret) Hill, Ray (Glenda) Hill, Johnny Hill, Ronnie (Brenda) Hill, Marvin (Brenda) Hill; sister, Beverly (T.A.) Walker; two grandchildren, Randy and Chad Shadden; four great-grandchildren, Taygen, Trition, Jase, and Cole Shadden and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Ballinger, Rev. Jon Weaver and the Honorable Clarence Shattuck officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. Visitation is 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Monday and after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
