Patsy Ann Pardue, 59, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Sunday, July 24, 2005, after a lengthy battle with colon cancer.
She was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy and a member of Rechoboth Baptist Church. Patsy was a mother and a grandmother to many people. She never met a stranger and she would always greet you with a smile. She will always be remembered for her generosity and sincerity. She has touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mart Eustice.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Butler Pardue; daughter, Melissa Pardue; mother, Wilma Eustice; sisters, Betty (Fred) Doss and Judy (Cecil) Morgan; brothers, Horace (Liz) Eustice, Mart "Eoochie" (Wilma) Eustice and Morris (Sheila) Eustice; nieces, Candy (Aaron) Knight, Rhonda Martin, Amy (Heath) Young, Stacy (Michael) Tipton, Rebecca Morgan, Samantha (Ronnie) Cranmore, Donna (Bob) Youngblood and April Eustice; nephews, Rodney Eustice, Fred (Jennifer ) Doss, Eric (Larissa) Eustice, Nathan (Melissa) Eustice and Josh Eustice; great-nieces and great-nephews, Daisy Knight, Robbie, Morgan and Haven Harvey, Dallas Young, Brittany and Hunter Cranmore, Chad Youngblood Cody, Hailey, Saderia and Dawson Eustice; her "adopted children," Krista Nunley, Chris Beavers and Kelly Cranfield; special in-laws, Jim and Louise Pardue; special friends, Gail Nunley and Geraldine Hutcheson.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, in the chapel of the funeral home with Bishop Warren Beavers, the Rev. Don Lasley officiating. Burial will be in Presbyterian Cemetery on Holly Circle in Soddy-Daisy with a graveside prayer by the Rev. Jeff Daniels.
Pallbearers are Aaron Knight, Bob Youngblood, Fred Doss, Heath Young, Michael Tipton and Robert Harvey. Honorary pallbearers are all of her nephews, nephews-in-laws and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses on the CWW7 at Erlanger hospital for their kindness and wonderful care. Dr. Larry Schlabach and Dr. Alvaro Valle will always hold a special place in their hearts.
